We managed to fit a trip into Nauvoo about a week after we moved. It was awesome to visit Elder and Sister Hanson (Tyler’s parents) during the last few weeks of their mission. I’ve always heard people talk about the “spirit” of Nauvoo, and I have to admit being there truly was a special experience. I grew to love the Prophet Joseph Smith and the early saints (including some of my own ancestors) so much more during our stay. What remarkable people in such a pinnacle time in the world’s history! Tyler and I both loved all the craftsmanship and history of EVERYTHING there. I think we could have wandered around that place forever!

Finally, I'm Back!
So… since my last post we've managed to stay plenty busy. We did move, we have painted, we have commuted, we have painted and commuted some more! As you can see, I have not blogged, but will make an attempt to fill you in over the next few weeks about our whereabouts and happenings....
